i think ,yes, ur mum have to be firm enuff, my dotter take less than a week to wean it off. First night, she was like addicted to dadah.. keep on crying (slowly.. those very cham version) asking for her pacifier.. we act nothing and by 3rd or 4th night, she got it off di.. gambetee to your mother k.. :)
By the way, i think perhaps her pacifier spoilt di, so she cry and dun wanna use it.. perhaps she need u to change her a new one..
I think this round is successful for both daughters. Since last Thursday, the younger daughter did not use the pacifier. Normally, the elder daughter will grab her sister's pacifier if my mum refused to give her. Now, she has no more chance to be naughty anymore.
Unfortunately the 狠心 jiujiu is not around, hahaha ...
